It came on a cartridge with no label, just a strip of masking tape: GAMESMASTER PREVIEW VERSION, 7 SEPTEMBER 1995.  NOT FOR SALE.  It starts like the game you remember. Bright colours. Bouncy music. A tiny hero in the Wacky Labs with one job:  free the fleas trapped in jars and get them out.  So you free them.  And the lab goes round again. A little quieter this time. A little greyer. The fleas you saved don't run away  anymore. They follow you. And the music is slowing down.  You should have left them where they were
